In late January and early February, it might seem like an odd time to talk about AC repair. After all, it’s pretty much the coldest time of the year. Sure, Las Vegas isn’t say, North Dakota, but it can still get pretty chilly out there. That makes it all the more unlikely to talk about air conditioning, much less repairing your air conditioner. However, this is actually the perfect time to do something about your air conditioner – to make sure that it’s in perfect working order by the time the sweltering summer heat rolls around again.
AC Mending: Before it Gets Too Warm
Here’s a potential scenario that too many people in the Las Vegas area have gone through: it’s June. The temperature outside is somewhere around 110 degrees but somehow feels like it’s at least three times that. You’ve got the AC going strong, though, so it’s not really a problem. If you’re at home, you’re having a good time with your family. If you’re at work, you and the rest of the staff are as productive as can be. Then, bam – out of nowhere, all of a sudden, the air conditioner stops working.
This can present so many different problems it’s not easy to list them all. If you’re at work, well, that’s sort of it for anyone being productive the rest of the day. Sure, you can tell people that they should get back to work, and you can open the windows and crank up the fans, but at more than 110 degrees, nothing’s really going to work. Actually, opening the windows at that point can actually make things worse. That means that at least one day of work is lost.
At home, the consequences can be even worse. Hopefully, if your AC does break down, it does so at night. Sure, the summer nights in the Vegas area can be hot, but they aren’t sweltering, they aren’t genuinely scary. But, if the AC goes down in the afternoon, lookout. You can lie outside and drink lots of water, but without somewhere to go to with air conditioning, even the coziest home can become a questionably safe environment.
AC Mending When You Need It and Before You Need It
In each of the scenarios above, Air Pro Master can get to your location in a hurry and fix your AC. We’re always available to take your call, and then we’ll get out to you as quickly as possible. We know how the Las Vegas area can be because we’ve lived here for a long time ourselves. So, we understand how hot these summer days can be. We don’t want to have to sit through them without air conditioning, either. When your AC does break down, we can be there in a hurry to set things right.
That said, you might want to get your AC looked at before the hot days come. This time of year, we’re doing all kinds of AC maintenance for our customers. Of course, a strong majority of this work is preventative. That way, we’re finding potential problems before they become catastrophes. With this in mind, we’re able to keep those scenarios mentioned in the last section from happening. Instead of your AC unit breaking down during the hottest days of the year, we can find and fix what’s wrong with it during the winter months. That way, you never have to worry about it breaking down during the time when you can least afford for it to do so.
That said, while this is late January and early February, it’s still Las Vegas. There are going to be days even during the winter when it might be hot enough outside that you’re going to want your air conditioning unit going strong. Should it break down on you during this or any other time of the year, we can be right there.
Different Ways of Restoring Your AC, Up to and Including Replacing It
Above, we said that we could make your AC unit “right.” That has many different definitions. It could mean that we come out to your location, figure out what’s wrong with the AC unit, then fix it in a hurry. However, it might also be that we come to your location, see that your AC unit is broken, and then determine that the best option (in terms of money, effort, time, and more factors) is to get you a new unit. In those circumstances, we can present you with many different options, so that you can find one that not only matches your situation but matches your budget as well.
